Any 'PC' term that equates terrorist murderers with the legitimate 'forces' of law and order is unacceptable.  The do-gooders in the reconciliation industry want to remove all distinctions between the police and army on the one hand, and the terrorist murderers, thugs and gangsters on the others - for purely political purposes.

It was because of this issue, and Glencree's refusal to re-define its terms so that security 'force' people could participate in victims' programmes, and be classed as different from terrorist killers, that West Tyrone Voice withdrew from any group involvement with that organisation.  Glencree, and its fellow-travellers, wish to remove any clear distinction between these two groupings so that it could then jump on the republican band-wagon and condemn the security forces for doing their job - in very difficult circumstances.  Indeed, the thought is repugnant to decency.

The memory of my murdered policeman brother prohibits me drawing any equivalence between him and those who took his life so ruthlessly.  He was a police officer, and they were cowardly terrorists who robbed him of his life, my parents of their youngest son, and my brother and sister of a beloved brother.

The government-sponsored and inspired 'PC' approach is calculated to demonise those who cared most for our country, and to elevate those whose declared intention was to destroy Northern Ireland.  This is still very much what lies behind all their sugar-coated words; in fact, their utter hatred of everything British and Protestant lies only beneath the surface, as recent events at the home-coming parade of the RIR displayed so vividly.
